Are you listening?

"In Numbers 22:22-40, God even used a donkey to speak to someone.  He wants to speak to us so much that He will use whatever means is necessary.  You can be assured that if you are trusting God to speak that He will find a way to get His message through to you."
-Hearing From God each Morning: 365 daily devotions, Joyce Meyer, April 14

How precious to know our Lord and Savior cares so much that He would use any means possible to get our attention.  I remember a friend commented that the Lord seemed to be using an unbeliever to speak to someone close to her.  It made me stop and think.  So many times I have preconceived notions of who our Lord is.  I place Him in a box that my small sinful mind can only conceive.  I realize, it is only Him that will allow me to see past me, to see past my truth and to see what is His truth.

Do you do this?  Do you believe God for His promises?  I love the Beth Moore study, Believing God.  Its challenge--you believe IN God, but do you BELIEVE God.  We cannot have that personal relationship with our precious heavenly Father without first spending time with Him.  Asking Jesus into our hearts as our personal Lord and Savior is first and foremost.  After that precious moment, that relationship needs to be nurtured, through prayer, reading His Word, the Holy Bible, and then developing a life of obedience to His will.  Knowing Him, resting in Him, softens your heart, your ear to Him, to His Spirit's gentle promptings, gentle convictions, and comforting assurance...that He is a loving Father, that we can believe Him for who He says He is and who He says we are in Him.

“That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified,
 and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.”

17 learn to do right!

       Seek justice,

       encourage the oppressed. [a]

       Defend the cause of the fatherless,

       plead the case of the widow.

 18 "Come now, let us reason together,"

       says the LORD.

       "Though your sins are like scarlet,
       they shall be as white as snow;
       though they are red as crimson,
       they shall be like wool.

 19 If you are willing and obedient,

       you will eat the best from the land;

~Isaiah 1:17-19

5 No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.

 6 "Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them. 7 Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. 8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."
~Joshua 1:5-9

"these people will inherit the land I swore to...them.
...Be strong and very courageous, be careful to obey all the law MY servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it.
...I will be with you wherever you go."

Believe Him...there is no greater love than His.  Praising Him for His precious grace and mercy and abounding love...

Bless you sweet friends,
