day 24 intentionally-praise report!

patience required to see the beauty...
It has been a whirlwind here! Prayer, prayer and more prayer.  Coming to an end, a breaking point, an on your knees, desperate pleading point...and He's there the entire time.  We've had amazing and wonderful news for hubby getting a GREAT job!  To God ALONE be the glory!  How foolish is this heart of mine to think things come easily in this life.  They have come easily but I hadn't realized why.  I'm the forever optimist (for the most part) and know God is faithful in His provision for His children.  I know this and have always believed it.  But when this job hunt took longer than I could've imagined (and I humbly say it took such a short time in comparison to so many others in this situation) I really realized He gives and He takes away; to God alone be the glory.

Praising Him for His continued faithfulness to care for our needs..and continuing to patiently remind me when I begin to doubt...

day 23 intentionally...being carried

Deuteronomy 1:31
and in the wilderness, where you have seen how the Lord your God carried you, as a man carries his son, all the way that you went until you came to this place.’

...humbled by His grace...my heart rejoices...

Day 22 intentionally-quiet hope

But this I call to mind,
    and therefore I have hope:
22 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;[b]
    his mercies never come to an end;
23 they are new every morning;
    great is your faithfulness.
24 “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
    “therefore I will hope in him.”
25 The Lord is good to those who wait for him,
    to the soul who seeks him.
26 It is good that one should wait quietly
    for the salvation of the Lord.
27 It is good for a man that he bear
    the yoke in his youth.

Lamentations 3:23-27

This morning...remembering He is faithful.  Have a blessed morning.

2021 today...

And here we are two years later. We had a vile presidential election in 2020, are still having a worldwide pandemic (Covid-19), and the voic...
