Happy New Year!

Hi! We are back from a lovely visit with family and friends in Virginia! How special it was and now, how special it is to be back home:) This was our first visit back "home" since the move and I've missed VA so much. But my heart is happy to say home is now where we are-where the Lord has brought us since our move last May. He is so faithful! I'm grateful for a summer that was very "stretching" both personally and spiritually. I truly clung to Him and He held me and blessed us abundantly- and still is! I am so excited for what lays ahead-knowing to keep Him first, to love my hubby, my boys and to listen (lots of prayer, patience, and healing:) )

May you all be blessed, He is with you, wherever you are, just ask...then trust.

God bless!

The Lost Sheep...

"...Does He not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until He finds it? And when He finds it, He joyfully puts it on His shoulders and goes home..." Luke 15:4-5

Are you letting your Shepard joyfully put you on His shoulders and lead you home?

Jesus tells us "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost." Luke 19:10
Jesus came to earth to save us, to lead us back home, to show us the way. He tells us three parables- the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the lost son...all lost but searched for and then rejoiced over with their return.

Are you not more valuable than gold, than the finest of jewels? Oh you are, more than you could ever know. The Lord came here and made a way back home for His children. His sinful children that rebelled against Him, He showed mercy and grace to. He came, was ridiculed, tortured, and crucified..to death. But He rose from the dead.

"He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed." Isaiah 53:5

Jesus came here to find us and lead us back home. Will you let Him? Will you allow Him a place in your heart, confess your sins to Him and admit you can't be without Him? Don't delay, don't try and make your life right before you ask Him to come into your heart. You can't make it right by yourself and the enemy will be sure of that. But with Jesus, nothing is impossible. What comfort there is in knowing Jesus is right there, ready, willing to help when you ask. He didn't come here to condemn you but to save you..to love you, to give you hope, and to give you peace in the storm. He doesn't promise you a life without struggle, but He does promise His peace, His loving hand, forgiveness, and a place in His kingdom when you ask Him to save you.

I pray you've committed your life to Him and you are now sharing His word with others (for He rejoices over the repentance of one sinner!). If you haven't committed your life to Him, I pray you do right now-don't wait, our days are numbered, Jesus wants you right now as you are, not cleaned up and "better", He wants you, and He desires to help you and bring you peace and joy and hope. Will you allow Him?

May His love, peace and comfort embrace you, may you truly see "the reason for the season", the birth of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.- Amen

God bless you!

Romans 10:9 "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." AMEN
