day 17 intentionally...changes

Oh the changes happening!  We've decided to move back "home"!  This winter we were blessed to spend quiet time away from the harsh New England winter and with it came sweet family time together, prayer, a graduation for my precious hubby and discussions of the future that quickly went from a two year plan to "now".

I can't express how humbled I am by God's plans.  He has used these past six years of refining and most importantly...our walk with Him.  I have literally been on my knees in tears, crying out to my Father and He has been faithful to every need that I and the rest of my dear family has had.  His answers have been in His timing and He has been patient with this stubborn heart of mine.  He has walked (carried) me through places and shown me His strength when I had none, His faithfulness when I had doubts, His love when I was weary, His grace to continue on.  And now we come to this moment when we are returning home.  Home, with two more sweet ones in tow.  Home, with fresh perspective and new eyes of gratitude.  Home, with new beginnings.  Prayerfully, the grown up chapter of our lives :)  Our precious ones are getting so big.  The oldest transitioning into a young man...oh my goodness, that is really hard to write.  He is kind, gentle, helpful and trying his best.  We are starting to get a glimpse of who these amazing lives are that God has entrusted in to our care.  Seeing their personalities, gifts, and weaknesses.  And the Lord has been faithful to our parenting of these young men.  His love for them is so great and He has allowed us the opportunity to testify to that.  In their weakness He has been faithful to show His protection of their hearts, blessing us all in the process.

The worries still try to creep in as to what this next season holds for us.  But I know for certain He is faithful.  I will trust Him.  I will hope.  I will remember that this life here is just temporary but my life with Him is eternal.  I will continue to commit my life, my marriage, my children into His hands, praying that He would be glorified in it all.

Praising and thanking God, my Father, creator, name above all names, blessed Redeemer, Emmanuel.

Thankful...
