Fight the good fight of the faith...

"Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses." 1 Timothy 6:12

Fight the good fight! Don't ask "what is wrong with me?" (I'm stopping too!) ask God for wisdom- He is faithful to this (and all He says.) Sometimes you just have to go with what He is telling you or leading you and not over think it.

His Word is clear,
His commandments are clear,
and he gives wisdom to those who ask.

Come against the things that are not of Him, keep your focus on Jesus-then all the other things will be seen in their true light (or darkness.) That nasty spirit of rebellion can weasel its way in and cause some serious mayhem-like the flu! Anyhow, that's it! We see it and say "out of here!"

This is stemming from a great conversation this morning and it is good to be able to put something in perspective and see what your figthting against--and how awesome we are to be prayer warriors (right girls:) !) We truly need to lift one another up and I am SO GRATEFUL to the Lord for allowing me friendships that have endured and gone through the years, and for the new ones. Together we are the body of Christ and He loves us and expects us to care for one another-for we are caring for Him.

Seek the Lord with all your heart. If you have fallen away from Him or you just feeling like He is not close, ask for HIS forgiveness and rededicate your life to Him. He is faithful to forgive and He loves you more than you could imagine.

Dear Lord Jesus, you are my saviour, forgive me of my sins and please come in to my heart and live in me. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to you and please give me courage, your strength and your wisdom to follow your will.

I cried the day I was baptized, I wasn't even sure why, but I'm sure my spirit did:) And it was such a special moment to confess my belief and ask the Lord into my life in front of my family and friends. That was five years ago and oh how the Lord has been faithful. He has given me strength, courage, love and forgiveness..and will continue. He is faithful to His Word-ALWAYS.

God bless you:)

Big hugs!
Bree

I am so excited about the new blog. LOL I love the background. Good pick.
You are right on! It is a good fight. Today we (the boys and I) were going over our history. We were discussing Adam and Eve. We discussed what man had to do now because of sin. You know toil the land where both thorns and thisles will be brought out. Well, the author said this about women ... "Women were cursed by experienceing pain in childbirth (no surprise there) and BY NOT DESIRING TO BE MASTERED BY THEIR HUSBANDS. Whew! We were JUST talking about that! Rebellion! I have already had some quiet conversations with the Lord today about it but I think tonight I need to get on my knees.

I love the name of your blog, Bree! It is fabulous!

And, Terri, good point about the whole rebellion-against-husbands thing. Not that someone like ME would struggle with that, but I'll pray for you girls! :) !!!
